Care co-ordination team
Our skilled care co-ordinators are ‘front of house’ and usually your first port of call when you contact or visit the surgery. Our care co-ordinators field the majority of incoming queries and are now also responsible for co-ordinating recalls and appointment schedules for the management of a number of chronic health conditions. Our care co-ordinators are trained to work to guidelines set out by our GPs and will ask you questions when you call the practice to ascertain the nature of your query. This information will be used to direct/refer you to, or book you in with an appropriate clinician or service. Our care co-ordinators follow a code of confidentiality and will only ask you questions appropriate to patient care.

Dispensary / Pharmacy
Our dedicated dispensers and pharmacy counter assistants are trained to help patients with the dispensing of and queries regarding prescriptions and medication. Our pharmacy team can also help with minor ailments and advice on over the counter remedies.

Administration Team
Our administration team work hard ‘behind the scenes’ to perform a number of important duties that help to keep our surgery running effectively. Our administration team is comprised of medical secretaries (responsible for hospital referrals), registration clerks, and administrators responsible for data processing, incoming document management, private (non-NHS) work, childhood immunisation programmes, and the management of the practice timetables.
