We would like to inform you of an upcoming road closure that will directly impact our practice on Friday, 12 September 2025. The closure will be in effect from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
I understand that this may cause some inconvenience to both staff and patients, and I appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through this one-time disruption.
The mitigations we have put in place for operational delivery for patients are as follows:
• We have contacted all patients by phone and text that have appointments on Friday and informed them that they must allow additional time to park up and arrive for their appointments.
• Those patients with mobility issues & blue badge holders will be authorised to come through to the practice by the traffic control.
• Blue Light Services will be permitted at any time should we require.
• Pharmacy will remain open with normal working hours 8:30 – 1pm closed for lunch and re-open at 2pm – 6:30pm.
• Practice Manager has contacted the Bloods & Samples services to inform them that they will need to park up and walk round to the surgery to collect.
• We have updated this information on our website and social platforms.
• There will be a period of 30mins where no one will be permitted to leave the carpark due to the actual entrance to the practice being resurfaced anytime from 12:30 – 2pm.
