Pharmacy

Your GP Practice can make a Pharmacy First referral appointment for seven conditions – our care coordinators can arrange this for you. Or you can self refer if you prefer.

Details of referred conditions under the Pharmacy first scheme (PDF).

Musculoskeletal (MSK) triage

You can now refer yourself to physiotherapy – you no longer need your GP to make the first referral for you. Visit their website, Physiotherapy (MSK Outpatients).

Travel advice

Please be advised we do not offer a full private travel service at The Downland Practice. The travel practitioner works limited hours and will only offer basic advice and public health vaccinations in line with the current Public Health England guidance. It is important to enquire as early as possible at least 3 months before you travel.

For destination specific travel advice, please contact a private travel clinic. They will be able to advise you which vaccinations you are recommended for your travel plans. Some vaccinations are available on the NHS.

It may be helpful for you to take a copy of your vaccination history to the travel clinic with you. If you would like a copy of this, please ask the care coordinator a question here.
