Front line health and social care workers – COVID vaccine

We are in the process of contacting patients who work in front line health and/or social care. If you responded ‘YES’ to our recent text message asking if you are a front line health or social care worker, you will receive call from our team with a COVID-19 vaccine appointment. If you have already had your vaccination elsewhere, please allow us to update your records by letting us know.

To be eligible for a priority front line health and social care worker vaccine, you must fall into the eligibility criteria. You will be asked by our team to confirm your role at point of booking and will be required to bring work ID to your appointment as proof.

If your role does not meet the above criteria, you will receive an invitation for the COVID-19 vaccine in line with government guidance.

To prevent vaccine wastage, you may be contacted by a member of our team and offered an appointment at Newbury Racecourse at short notice. Clinics are booked to capacity and short notice appointments are only offered at the end of the day to avoid wastage in the event of booked patients not attending their appointments. Please do not attend without a booked appointment as you will not be vaccinated.
