Information and advice for travelling abroad
Travel vaccinations
Please be advised we do not offer a full private travel service at The Downland Practice. The travel practitioner works limited hours and will only offer basic advice and public health vaccinations in line with the current Public Health England guidance. It is important to enquire as early as possible at least 3 months before you travel.
For destination specific travel advice, please contact a private travel clinic. They will be able to advise you which vaccinations you are recommended for your travel plans. Some vaccinations are available on the NHS.
It may be helpful for you to take a copy of your vaccination history to the travel clinic with you. If you would like a copy of this, please ask the care coordinator a question.
