The Downland Volunteer Group (DVG) have taken delivery of their new electric HandeBus which is to be launched to the press and our sponsors on:

The new HandeBus will be parked at the far end of Hilliers new building and attendees should meet up in the new café near to where the vehicle is parked. (The door marked ‘Exit Only’ nearby this location opens when approached from the car park).
This is possibly the first electric community transport minibus in West Berkshire and one of only a handful across the UK. It allows residents in the Downland villages, especially those with mobility issues, to go shopping and visit venues in the area in a vehicle that will contribute towards a better environment.
