We are very aware that there is a longer wait for patients to get through to the practice by telephone. Unplanned staff absences (yes, medical staff do get ill as well) and childcare issues have had a huge knock on effect across the whole surgery. We are currently recruiting new reception staff but this will take a good few weeks to improve the telephone waiting times. If you can ring later in the day this will be appreciated.
