Patients who usually have their medication supplied by the Downland Practice may, on occasion, have their medication dispensed by Downland Pharmacy.
These occasions will usually be when supplying certain medication where a pharmacists’ input improves patient safety during the supply process, or where it is more cost-effective for the Downland Practice.
Patients who do not wish to have their medication dispensed by the Downland Pharmacy, can choose to take a prescription for the medication to a pharmacy of their choice instead.
