The DVG has been active in the villages north of Newbury since 1986. We drive patients requiring transport to their appointments at the surgeries and hospitals in the area. Before lockdown around 900 trips were made each year. Because of the pandemic we have been unable to operate for over a year. With the easing of lockdown we plan to restart our car service from 21 June (subject to Government advice at the time)
Anyone requiring transport to the surgeries or hospitals in Newbury, Reading or Oxford should contact our office in the Compton surgery when it reopens on Monday 14th June. The office will be open Monday to Friday between 9.30am – 11.30am to take appointments for the following week onwards. Our phone number is: 01635 578394
