You will be aware that due to unprecedented staff shortages that our prescription dispensing service has been affected. As a short term measure you may now collect 2 months prescriptions at the same time. This change will be in place for 6 months with effect from the 1st March 2024.
If you pay for your prescriptions you can opt to pay monthly and continue as you do – or pay and collect for two months.
Please note that some medications are EXEMPT including (but may not be limited to) : controlled drugs, drugs that need careful monitoring and special items.
We hope that this will go some way to improve our service.
An update will be provided before the end of the 6 months regarding the next steps.
