All requests for repeat prescriptions need to allow for 5 working days so that they can be processed. The main reason for this change is the supply of medication to the Downland Pharmacy. The supply of medicines has slowed down in the last year and has increased delay in having patients medication ready on time. The extra day will allow for the supply concerns. Medication requests submitted to the Downland Pharmacy on a Monday should be ready to collect the following Monday, the working week is Monday to Friday.
